The core value underlying the Business Education programme of the University is to produce graduates equipped with critical skills and abilities to make meaningful impacts in Business and entrepreneurial development of the country. It is also believed that experience gained will prepare BusinessEducation graduates for the labour market which make them employer of labour.
Impart to the students the basic knowledge of the concepts, theories, principles and practice of accounting, marketing and secretarial education.
Teach students the application of the techniques of accounting, marketing and secretarial education to the solution of management problems to the accomplishment of the objective of organizations and achievement of increase in the economic productivity and social welfare.
Produce teachers and administrators for both senior secondary schools and tertiary institutions in accounting, marketing and secretarial options. Develop the attributes of leadership and lubrication of inter-personal relationships required for working in industrial, commercial and education organizations.
Contribute to the knowledge and practice of accounting, development of intellectual horizon of students, attachment to reputable firms as well as teaching practices.
